- Donations to the local Food Shelf
- Christmas food baskets of groceries delivered to 300 families and individuals in need
- Providing scholarships to graduating seniors from Monticello High School
- Founders and management partners of Monticello Riverfest
- Serving at community events – Riverfest, Bertram Chain of Lakes picnic, Frostbite Challenge, others
- Provide work crews to help at Camp Friendship, a summer camp for handicapped children and young adults – Located on Clearwater Lake near Annandale
- Serve at an “Ice Cream Social” at Camp Friendship
- Sponsoring programs in the local schools – Legionville Patrol Camp, Quest, Others
- Purchase of eyeglasses for children in need
- Collections of hearing aids and eyeglasses for Lions CIub International to distribute to those most in need
- Purchase of wigs for cancer patients in need who have lost their hair in treatment, referred by New River Medical Center Cancer Center
- Delivery of Meals on Wheels
- Decorating for the Holidays in West Bridge Park
- Reading for “Times on Tape” and distributing to local sight impaired citizens
- Building ramps for the handicapped in need
- Staffing Bingo night for nursing home residents
- Providing a chili feed for Firefighters, and an annual Firefighter of the Year award
- Donating to the Lion’s Eye Bank
- Donating to the Lion’s Hearing Foundation
- Donating to “Leader Dogs for the Blind” and “Can-Do Canines”
- Planting trees in and around the community
- Construction of buildings in the parks in Monticello
- And many other special projects and donations since the Monticello Lions were chartered in 1975
